A workshop in Conversational Russian is designed to help individuals learn and practice the Russian language in everyday, real-life communication scenarios. This workshop focuses on improving your spoken language skills, comprehension, and confidence in using Russian in various conversational contexts.
The primary goal of the workshop is to enhance your ability to communicate effectively in Russian. This includes speaking, listening, and understanding spoken Russian. You’ll learn to engage in conversations on everyday topics. The conversational Russian workshop involves interactive activities, role-playing, and group discussions to provide practical experience and boost your confidence in speaking Russian.
You will get new skills and knowledge:
- Improving oral communication: the conversation club is designed to help participants develop oral communication skills in Russian, increasing their confidence in communication.
- Vocabulary expansion: each topic provides participants with the opportunity to learn new words and expressions related to Russian culture and society.
- Understanding of Russian culture and society: participants will be able to deepen their knowledge of Russia, its history, culture, lifestyle and social issues.
- Development of critical thinking: discussing a variety of topics will allow participants to develop analytical and critical thinking skills.
Possible topics to be covered during the course:
Art and culture / travelling and tourism / technologies and science / history of Russia / today`s society and its challenges / national cuisines / Russian music and film / education and career / religion / sports and health.

Teacher(s)
Lukasz Marek Chwistek is a linguist, Russian language teacher and methodologist, TRFL tester, and sworn translator. An active member of many organizations uniting teachers of Russian as a Foreign Language. He believes that the more positive emotions there are in a lesson, the more effective the learning of the Russian language 🙂
Timetable
The course can be taken as an “after-class” course in addition to other courses, especially Russian language.
Schedule:
January 13, 16, 20, 23, 27, 30 (Mondays and Thursdays) at 14:15 – 15:45.
Participants
The course is open for all students of Russian as a foreign language from level B1.
Credit points
1 ECTS. Participants should participate in at least 75% of classes to get the certificate and transcript of records.

120 EUR
NB! Accommodation, cultural programme and meals are not included in the price.
