Non-Degree / Dates: January 2023

Digital Innovation for Civic Engagement Projects is a programme for digital transformation in communities and civic initiatives to involve more people in the discussion and decision-making process by using technology. The aim is to experience what it means to be an active citizen, community member and leader in participatory democracy and to learn about what are the biggest challenges in civic engagement. Participants will also learn how to start the digital transformation in communities and civic initiatives to involve more people in the discussion and decision-making process, using technology for that.

This event will bring together representatives of the international community from Indonesia, India, Switzerland, Latvia, Poland, Estonia and other countries. In this programme, we will explore and share the possibilities and challenges that participatory and e-democracy face. The representatives will share their experiences from each country and learn from each other’s projects.

The programme aims to improve participatory leadership skills, to learn to design civic engagement projects using technology and to do it in a culturally diverse and startup-minded environment. In this hands-on training, participants will work with their own projects to learn to initiate digitally innovative engagement projects.
